Junior Varsity Tennis players Ella Packard (junior) and her doubles teammate Arjun Walling (senior) dominated their match on Friday Sept. 9 against Round Rock. Playing on their home court, the teammates won 8-3, leaving the competition in the dust. 

“My prediction for the season is that we make it to regionals again this year and hopefully state too” Ella said. 

Fighting back and forth between the two sides of the court, Westlake took an early win and were up the whole time. Then, Round Rock won the three last games when Westlake was about to take the win. 

“We started off winning and we were up the whole time, then they got three games at the very end when we were about to win,” Ella said.

Luckily, Westlake pulled through and won pretty easily. 

The Varsity team will take on their next challenge at Dripping Springs High School on Sept. 22.
