Film classes wrap up semester
The Digital Video Production students are wrapping up their semester with various projects.
“Right now we have until December to make a nine-page script; the best four will be made into productions,” freshman Aimee Embestro said. “Mine is a scary story about a doll.”
The DVP students edit and film their own work. Freshman Estevan Olivarez is filming a music video. Estevan is one of the personalities on the Chap Recap bringing students the news.
“It’s not hard because I know how to edit,” he said.
The general consensus of the video producers is that DVP is worth the work and a good way to begin preparing for a possible career in the film industry.
“I enjoy the projects and people,” Aimee said. “If you actually want to learn, it’s easy.”
