Chaps Orchestra rehearses Nov. 20, 2024 with the Technical Entertainment Crew (TEC) to prepare for the Nutcracker Spectacular. Although the orchestra plays most of the music live, TEC recorded the orchestra playing the overture for the Nutcracker Spectacular, which will be played at the beginning of the six shows, Dec. 12 to 15.

Varsity Volleyball Opens Playoffs With Sweep Over Stony Point
Chaps orchestra performed a concert with a spooky twist Oct. 23, 2024 at the Performing Arts Center. The Halloween concert included scores from movies including Nosferatu, special performances with Chaps Theatre and Hill Country and West Ridge Middle School students and a costume contest. "The concert is such a great way to engage the whole [orchestra] community and celebrate together," junior Miranda Xu said.
A Symphony of Tricks and Treats
Varsity girls basketball defeats Killeen 58-25 in their second game of the BeYOUtiful Classic Basketball Tournament Nov. 10. Point Guard/ Guard senior Bella Hesse turned in a strong performance, including a three-point shot. The Chaps went 3-2 overall in the tournament against some of the top basketball teams in Texas.
