New restaurant hiring
Kerbey Lane, a local Austin restaurant that has been serving Austin customers for almost 30 years, will be opening in The Village in Westlake at the end of summer 2014. The cafe is replacing The Lion and Rose, right between Chik-Fil-A and Gold’s Gym.
Because of this new addition, plenty of jobs will be opening up. The restaurant is in need of new staff and will be accepting applications for waiter, expo, host and bus boy positions.
Kerbey Lane has announced that a hiring tent will be held at the Westlake location on Friday, June 27th 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 2 – 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 28th, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 2 – 5 p.m. Applicants should have a resume prepared and expect to be interviewed on site. Applicants may also apply at kerbeylanecafe.com.
“It’s really encouraging to be expanding in a time when so many restaurant are laying off or even closing down,” Training Director Kelly Vaccaro said. “It’s great to be able to hire so many people when we know a lot of people are out of work.”
